Ms. Jannette Mae Simmons' Obituary
Ms. Jannette M. Simmons, age 88, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, in Denton, Texas.
She was born on Thursday, August 30, 1934, to Lyle Kenneth and Fondella Ruth (Henderson) Andrews in Dallas, Texas.
Jannette married Bennie Frank Simmons on September 22, 1951, in Rockwall, Texas. They were married for nearly 67 years at the time of his passing in 2018.
Jannette loved shopping, painting, needlepoint, boating and water skiing.
Jannette is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Cherishing her love and memories are: her daughter-in-law and son, Patty and Ben Simmons, Jr.; her daughter, Sharon Michele Thompson; her grandchildren Kevin Simmons, Abbey Campbell, Matthew Simmons and Brett Simmons, and her great-grandchildren Raylan Campbell, Riley Campbell, Faith Simmons, Emmitt Simmons, Aubrey Mae Simmons, Samuel Simmons, Wyatt Simmons, Cheyanne Burnett and Matthew Burnett.
A funeral service will take place at 1:30PM on Friday, January 20, 2023, in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park. Pastor Nathan Tucker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Garden of Faith at Restland Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at Wildwood Chapel one hour prior to the funeral.
