Janyce Elaine Shaw's Obituary
Shaw, Janyce was born on November 21, 1946 and passed away August 22, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 48 years Mike Shaw, son, Derek Shaw, and mother Jane Huber. She loved her charity work that started at Childrens Medical Center, West Dallas Academy, and continued on for years as a foundation board member of United Cerebral Palsy. Her passion was her family and her friends. Janyce loved traveling the world with her husband and son. Her favorite thing to do was to go to the Dallas Cowboys’ and Dallas Mavericks’ games with her son. We are happy she lived long enough to finally see her beloved Dallas Mavericks win a championship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Ability Connection Texas (formerly United Cerebral Palsy) at 8802 Harry Hines Blvd, Dallas, Tx 75235 or Patriot Paws at Patriot Paws Dogs 254 Ranch Trail, Rockwall Tx 75032. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 02:30 PM at Restland Memorial Chapel.
