GRIMES, JARED ALAN born April 21, 1981 in Garland, Texas and passed away December 26, 2013 in Plano, Texas. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Richard S. Grimes; maternal grandfather, Rev. Judson G. Mills; maternal grandmother, Marjorie I Mills; uncle, Robb S. Grimes, niece, Abigail Grace Collis. Jared is survived by his sons, Peyton Alan Grimes and Hunter James Grimes; paternal grandmother, Lolita Grimes; parents, Richard and Sandy Grimes; sisters, Michelle Collis and husband, John, Carisa Epperson and husband, Tim along with a niece, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, December 30, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Jared A. Grimes C/O First State Bank, P.O. Box 850438, Mesquite, TX 75185-0438. Jared loved his boys dearly and enjoyed spending time with them through football, soccer, boy scouts, camping and especially fishing. He loved to help people in any way he could. He was very gentle, patient, and kind. The family would like to thank you for your love, support and prayers.
