Jason Robert Brown's Obituary
Jason Robert Brown CIC, CS, 46 passed away February 14th, 2018, at his home in Plano, Texas after battling heart disease for many years. His life celebration will be held this Monday, at Restland Memorial Chapel at 2:30 pm. Family will be hosting a visitation Sunday from 5 to 7 at Restland Funeral Home as well.Jason, aka Peanut, was born on February 25, 1971, in Louisiana. He enjoyed and excelled at golf. Growing up at Royal Oaks Country Club in the junior golf program is where his love of golf began. His talents led him to junior golf, high school and collegiate golf successes while playing individually and as a member of those respective teams. He also took great pride in helping other golfers. From the occasional “buddy tip” for friends to the full blown 2-3 hour sessions with his junior golfers, he found helping others learn to love the game a motivation in life. Jason graduated from Lake Highlands High School in 1990, and was a member of the state championship golf team in 87-88. He returned to the University of North Texas, to finish his degree to further his career as an Insurance Agent. He built and successfully ran Kimble Brown Insurance in Dallas.He is survived by his mother, Janet K Brown; brother, J.D. & wife, Alessia; sister, Ashley & husband, Garrett. He was overly proud of having 2 nieces, Jillian and Tilly and 2 nephews, Payton & EJ.
