Matthew was a nice and quiet person. I didn't have the chance to know him well but reading the memories I feel blessed that I got to meet him and see how he effected other people's lives. We can never understand such a loss. Let God be your refuge and may God give all Matthew's loved ones peace.

I have cherished memories with Mathew from our trips to make sandwiches for the homeless alongside his wonderful mother. Jennifer brought me into a world of volunteering, and we would often take our sons together. Mathew was such a gentle soul, always showing kindness and respect. My son, Joshua, held a special fondness for him as well. I want you to know, Mathew, that we will look after your mother here on earth, and we carry you in our hearts until we meet again.
