Jasper L. Wright's Obituary
WRIGHT, JASPER L. of Richardson, Texas, passed away on August 16, 2012. He was 93 years of age, born in Harrisburg, Arkansas to Thomas J. and Hester M. Bryant Wright. Mr. Wright served in the US Army-Air Corps during WWII. Mr. Wright was the retired Office Manager of Lance, Inc. He was a Charter Member of Spring Valley United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Wright was known to be wonderfully witty and compassionate. He never forgot anything. He loved sharing stories with friends and family. Family values were paramount. Jasper was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathryn L. Wright. Mr. Wright is survived, by his wife, Marjorie Wright; his son, Thomas Wright and wife, Mary; daughter, Alice Payn and husband, John; sister, Mary Frances Gerdes and husband, Coolidge; Grandchildren: Kathy Boyd and husband, Welton, Natalie Chapman, Debbie Wright, Laura Wright; Great-Grandchildren: Brittany, Brayden and Tristan; Stepchildren: Jayne Cooper, Michael Kennedy and wife, Sandee and Nancy Ashenhart. Visitation for family and friends will be on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Restland Funeral Home from 2-4 PM. Graveside service will be Monday, August 20, 2012, at 10:30 AM at Restland Memorial Park.
