Jaunita Brown's Obituary
BROWN, JAUNITA YOCUM A fifty year resident of Richardson, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on August 8, 2011. She was born on July 15, 1926 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Donald Yocum and Grace Phillips. Jaunita was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Carroll Dan Brown, Sr. She is survived by her children Dan and Kay Brown (Rockwall, Texas), Don and Susan Brown (Flower Mound, Texas), Valerie and George LeBeau (Plano, Texas) and Georg’a and Richard Walsh (San Antonio, Texas). Marnee has eleven beloved grandchildren, Tres and Krysta Brown, George and Rebekah LeBeau, Zachary Brown, Justin and Cathleen LeBeau, Bethany and Luis Dubuc, Audrea LeBeau, Kaylee Brown, Joshua LeBeau, Grayson Walsh, Emmie Walsh, and William Walsh and one great-grandson, Elijah LeBeau. Jaunita graduated from Hendrix College with an education degree and had a lifelong career as a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Women, a Sunday School teacher and served as PTA president. She was active with Bible Study Fellowship, book clubs and enjoyed painting. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas on Thursday, August 11, 2011, 6-8. The services will be held Friday, August 12, 2011 at 12:30 in the Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Bible Study Fellowship, 19001 Huebner Road, San Antonio, Texas 78258. Jaunita was a wonderful and continuing example of love to all those around her.
