He graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended Tyler Junior College where he met Denise his beloved wife of forty-seven years. He was a devoted & loving father to Clayton Anderson and Amy Bouse. He found joy in his grandchildren, Chance Griffin, Cheyanne Bouse, and Carter Anderson, who brought a sparkle to his eyes. Gordon was a true man of God & a devoted member of Prestonwood Baptist Church, embodying humility and optimism in every aspect of his life. He entered the custom home building business working with his Dad as a carpenter & later a career as a custom home builder for thirty-seven years. He loved the outdoors, tending to his yard, watching NASCAR, and vacationing with family in Destin, Florida where the beach was his sanctuary. His happiest moments were spending time with his family.
