Jay was my favorite uncle. He was a big part of my life for many, many years. He was so funny and kept our family laughing all the time. He and my dad loved to pull practical jokes and also tried to scare each other. Jay was a great man and our family loved him very much.

We really enjoyed meeting Jay at the Southeast High School reunion in 2007. Lily fondly remembers Jay taking time from the celebration to show her the racetrack. He was such a kind man. May God bless the family members. Tom and Lily Driver

Jay, We did so enjoy our talks during training for the hospital ministry and beyond as we shared our personal walks with the Lord. I looked up compassion the other day in the dictionary and there was your picture. No surprise to me. You have touched the lives of so many and I join the legions of friends who thank you and salute you for touching mine. while "chatting" with Jesus put in a good word for us. CU soon enough! Jay was the first to shake our hands when we first visited Pleasant Valley Church. He was also steadfast in his hospital ministry. Jay shared his Agape love to all. His love for the Lord, his beloved Deanna. his family and God's people will be his legacy. What an example to us all.
