Ginny, I am heartbroken by Jay’s passing and grateful for having been able to know him. Our times together at the club will hold a special place in my heart. It always gave me such a smile and a bit of a giggle when I saw you two after a bit of time, as I knew Jay would have “traded horses” and have a new-to-him shotgun. I will always remember how positive he was, especially on the field. Thank you, to both you and Jay, for including me in your lives.

I remember Jay as a very enthusiastic Shotgunner. He was so kind and easy to talk with. We got to know each other a bit better because of his purchase of a DryFire system. Seldom have I seen a husband so interested in supporting his wife’s goal of becoming a top level trapshooter. Which, under his guidance and encouragement she accomplished. But, with Jay, even a short conversation would bring you to understand his passion for his wife’s goal. This behavior peaks volumes about Jay’s character. He will be greatly missed by all those who really knew him.

Although I did not know Jay for a very long time, I do recognize he was truly a nice man and he loved supporting Ginny during her shooting career. I will miss him.Don Rackley
