JC Ellis Jr.'s Obituary
JC Ellis Jr., 82, of Garland, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2020, in Rowlett, Texas. He was born on July 14, 1937, to his loving and thoughtful parents, J.C. Ellis Sr. and Arlean Atkins in Winona, Texas. He attended the Waters Bluff School District. JC Ellis Jr. will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his daughters; Brenda (Carl) Williams of Garland, Texas, Loretta (Marvin) Henderson of Dallas, Texas, Patricia L. Ellis of Dallas, Texas, Georgia M. Ellis of Garland, Texas, Latretta A. Wilson of Tyler, Texas, Dorothy (Anthony) Robinson of Rowlett, Texas, Patricia (Otha) Hampton and Kim D. Ellis of Dallas, Texas, his sons; Yullic (Denise) Ellis of Lawton, Oklahoma, Ray C. Ellis of Dallas, Texas, Thomas (Lisha) Ellis of Livingston, Texas, and Bobby D. Ellis of Richmond, Texas, his sisters; Betty J, DeGrate of Chandler, Texas, Mary (Freddie) Wallace of Gladewater, Texas, Jamie Edwards, Mary Ann Turner, and Joann Turner all of Dallas, Texas, Wanda (Joe) Thergood of Pena Blanca, New Mexico, Elsie Lowery of Thomasville, Georgia, and his brothers; Harold (Linda) Ellis, Jimmy, Walter, and Ray all of Dallas, Texas, twenty six grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, JC Ellis and Arlean Atkins, his sons, James C. Ellis, his sisters, Vertie Hughes and Cynthia Ellis, and his brothers, George O. Ellis, Johnny B. Ellis, James Turner Jr., Randolph Ellis, and Michael Ellis.

Visitation for JC Ellis Jr. will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be held Friday, February 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243
