Mr. J.C Martin, age 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 13, 2018, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on April 22, 1924, to his loving and thoughtful parents, Louis Martin and Mabel Martin in Pittsburg, TX. Mr. J.C Martin married Mary Gatlin on October 10, 1943 in Greenville, TX. He was a painting contractor for 45 years in Dallas. J.C Martin served in the United States Navy from 1943 – 1945 as a Seaman – 1st Class. J.C Martin was preceded in death by his wife Mary Martin, son Gary Martin, and Grandson Jed Martin. He is survived by his sons: Donald W Martin – Plano, TX and Barry A Martin – Dallas, TX, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him. At this time, funeral services for Mr. J.C Martin are scheduled for Friday November 16, 2018 at 2:30 pm at Restland Memorial Chapel with visitation being held a day prior at Restland Funeral home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm November 15, 2018.
