Jean Wimberley Boyle's Obituary
Jean Wimberley Boyle passed away at her residence in Dallas, Texas, on September 11 after a courageous battle with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. She was born on March 26, 1933 in Sutherland, Nebraska to Francis Leland and Bertha Hehnke Wimberley. She was a graduate of Highland Park High School in Dallas and Colorado Women’s College in Denver. Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, John O. Boyle, Jr.; her father, Francis Leland Wimberley; and her only sibling, Barbara Wimberley Whitworth. She is survived by her mother, Bertha Hehnke Wimberley, of Dallas; daughters, Kathleen Hall of Bastrop, Texas; Nancy Barry of Dallas; and Elizabeth May and son-in-law, Russell of Dallas; grandchildren: Andrew Hall, Chris and Lauren Barry, Sarah and John May. Jean was loved by her family and many wonderful friends, including her special friend, Mike McGehee. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Euless, 106 N.
