Jean Ann Cowart's Obituary
91, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 25, 2015, in Dallas, Texas. Jean was born November 11, 1923, in Highland Park, Illinois to Edward and Helen Moroney. She grew up and attended school in Highland Park. She married Glen W. “Rusty” Cowart, of Ft. Worth, Texas on July 12, 1942. Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law – Patty Key of Dallas, Texas and Pam and Jim Goss of Murphy, Texas, a granddaughter, Tracy Key and her husband Ben Gray and a great granddaughter, Bailey Grace Sizemore as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Cowart and granddaughter, Amy Key. She was a dear lady who everyone admired and could not believe she was as “young” as she was. Jean’s family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas. A second visitation will be held in Highland Park, Illinois at Kelly and Spalding Funeral Home from 9:30-11:30 am on Saturday, March 7, 2015 followed by the burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lake Forest, Illinois. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
