Kay, we were deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Jean. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Jean was like a second mother to me I will miss her upbeat, quick witted style. She could talk with anyone about anything, no matter their age. That is truly a gift. Please know that we are grieving with you and your family today and forever….

I had a wonderful friendship with Jean for 25 years. She spent time with me when I had my last 2 children. We got each others mail and had each others house key. I moved in 2001 to Allen, my mother moved in that house and formed a friendship with Jean. We called several months ago to see how she was but no information was given to us by a family member who answered. So we did not know she was gone. I was thinking about her today and looked on the computer for info. She was so thoughtful and loving. I pray for peace for her family. Hope Matlock
I am ready for you to come back now Nana! I love you and miss you more and more everyday. Hope you having a fine time with the rest of the family up there! I love you…
