Jean Imke's Obituary
Imke, Jean ~ 86, died at home on February 12, 2011. Born in Americus, KS, Jean grew up on a farm near Follett, TX and graduated from Follett High School. Following graduation she graduated from Dallas Bible Institute. Jean also at a later time became a Certified Dental Assistant. She was passionate about her Bible and her faith in Jesus Christ. She had a heart for kids an spent her life meeting their needs. Jean is survived by her husband, Keith Imke; son, Darell Imke; three sisters, Ester Oblander, Erma Redelsperger, Clara McKee and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 18, 2011, 6:00PM – 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243, located corner of Restland Road (Walnut St.) and Greenville Ave, phone 972-238-7111. Funeral service will be led by Bob Deffinbaugh and held Saturday, February 19, 2011 10:00AM – 11:30AM at Community Bible Chapel, 418 East Main St. Richardson, TX, located corner of Main St. (same as E. Beltline Rd.) and S. Dorothy Dr. Pallbearers: George Bentley, Darrell Dasch, Landon Maples, Dale Pippenger, Jim Hallam and Robert Nick. The family requests that memorial donations in lieu of flowers be directed to: Community Bible Chapel, 418 East Main St., Richardson, TX 75081, www.communitybible.org.
