Jeanette Bradley's Obituary
With heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Nina Jeanette Bradley, who peacefully departed this life on November 26, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 29, 1935, in Dallas, Texas, Nina was the cherished daughter of Bessie May Adams and Archie Laney Adams. She grew up in Dallas, where she cultivated a love for family, adventure, and the simple joys of life. Nina shared a close bond with her sister, Jeanene Trapahgan, who was a lifelong source of love and support.
On July 13, 1956, Nina married the love of her life, Ken Bradley. From their very first date at White Rock Lake, they were inseparable. That magical first date marked the beginning of a beautiful journey together, filled with love, respect, and laughter. Their bond grew stronger with each passing year, and they shared a life full of travel, family, and countless precious memories.
Nina Jeanette shared her husband Ken Bradley's passion for motorsports, becoming an accomplished driver in her own right. While Ken achieved fame as a 6-time world champion drag racer, Nina raced in Gymkhana events, showcasing her exceptional driving skills and winning numerous trophies. Her love for speed, precision, and competition perfectly complemented Ken's achievements, making them a remarkable team both on and off the track.
In 1956, Nina also had the thrill of attending an Elvis Presley concert at the Cotton Bowl, a memory she cherished as one of her many exciting adventures in her youth. Nina and Ken were proud founders and chartered members of the Corvette Club of Texas, where they forged lasting friendships with fellow car enthusiasts and shared their passion for Corvettes. Their involvement in the club brought them immense joy and a sense of community, and they were proud to have contributed to its legacy.
Nina was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her compassion, humor, and
resilience. She loved supporting her children and grandchildren by attending their numerous sporting events, always cheering them on with enthusiasm and pride. Nina was happiest when spending time with her family and exploring the open road. One of her greatest joys were traveling in her motorhome, taking memorable vacations to places like Destin, Florida; Colorado; California; and Iowa. These trips created countless cherished memories for her family and reflected her adventurous spirit and love for life.
Nina is survived by her sons, Larry Bradley and his wife, Trini Bradley, and Kerry Bradley and his wife, Belinda Bradley. She also leaves behind her treasured grandchildren, Amberley Hall and her husband, Nik Hall, Colton Bradley and his wife, Courtney Bradley, and Cody Bradley. Nina was a proud great-grandmother to Capri Hall and Collier Hall, who brought her endless joy and pride. Additionally, she is survived by her beloved niece, Debra Ellis, and nephews, Keith, Doug, and Adam Trapahgan.
A celebration of Nina's life will be held on January 7, 2025, at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas, beginning at 2:00 PM. Family and friends are
