Jeannette Marie Carlson, age 90, of Farmers Branch, Texas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017.Born December 17, 1926, in Astoria, South Dakota.Jeanette truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, spending time with family and friends, shopping, eating out, and always finding something to do around the house.She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Donald V. Carlson, and her daughter, Donnette Schroeder.She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Carmen Houser and her husband, Phil, four grandchildren, Paige Siratt and her husband, Nick, Justin Houser and his wife, Cari, Clay Houser and his wife, Kati, and Travis Houser, three great-grandchildren, Shelby Siratt, Henry and Charli Houser, her sister, Grace Schaefer, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.Memorial services will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Restland Funeral Home in the Memorial Chapel.Our family wishes to thank everyone for your kind expressions of sympathy.
