Jeanette Leigh Henry's Obituary
HENRY, JEANETTE LEIGH POWELL Born: 5-14-1933 Died: 2-11-2013 Jeanette was a long time member of the Church of Christ who passed from this earth to a better life Monday, February 11, 2013. She is survived by her husband Doyle Henry of Mesquite and from Garland, son Ed Yartym and wife Carol, who was more like a daughter to Jeanette, grandson Matt Yartym, wife Mallory and great-grandchildren Paige and Presley of The Woodlands, Texas. She is also survived by granddaughter, Valerie Lormor and husband Tim of Phoenix, Arizona; brother-in-laws, Wayne Henry and Dan Henry and wife Carol along with several nieces, nephews and a host of friends and extended families. Jeanette was an active member of the White Rock Church of Christ in Dallas. She had an outgoing, loving personality that lit up a room when she entered. Her friends knew she was present in the church because of her infectious laugh. She never had an enemy and was an inspiration to all that knew her. She was born in Moore, Oklahoma, and is preceded in death by parents Aubrey and Rowena Powell, sisters Dee Stephens and Norma Parker and nephew George Bronar. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 – 800 PM at White Rock Church of Christ. Funeral services are Friday, 2:00 PM, at White Rock Church of Christ followed by burial at Restland Cemetery.
