Jeanette Sue McMurtrey's Obituary
born July 29, 1943 in Waco, TX and passed to be with her Lord, February 7, 2008 in Dallas, TX. Jan enjoyed many activities and time spent with her family. She was a dedicated singer for the Dallas Symphony Chorus, as well as a member of the staff and congregation of Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Daniel Reed McMurtrey; sons, Russell Rowan McMurtrey and Jason Ryan McMurtrey and wife Jessica; sisters, Sherrie Leach and Jerry Linda Richter; and brothers, Don and Garland Rowan. Service at 4:00pm at Restland’s Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made, in her honor, to Lover’s Lane United Methodist Church (214) 706-9525.
