Jeanne Stinson Lowrey's Obituary
Jeanne Stinson Lowrey, age 88, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on September 24, 2022. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Jeanne was born in Lafayette, Tennessee. Her family moved to Maroa, Illinois when she was 11. She had 4 siblings growing up and loved them dearly. Jeanne ended up in Texas in 1957, and later met the love of her life, Raymond. They married in 1962 and spent 52 years together until his death in 2015. Between them they have 6 children, 22 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren with another one on the way.
Jeanne worked for both Republic National Life and Allianz for many years as a computer programmer. She and Raymond enjoyed spending time with friends and going on trips. Jeanne retired in 2001, and in 2002 moved to Kansas to be near her youngest daughter and grandchildren. She spent 20 years in Kansas enjoying her grandchildren, never missing a game or special event. Spending time with any of her grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. She loved being a grandmother more than anything.
Jeanne was part of a loving family that included her parents Robert and Ruth, siblings Millie, Jim, Larry, and Betty, numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
Jeanne is preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven by husband Raymond Lowrey, parents Robert & Ruth Stinson, sister Millie Brawner, brother Jim Stinson, daughter Susan Gruenler, and grandson Anthony Fuentes.
She is survived by her brother Larry and his wife Judy Stinson, sister Betty Baird, children Rhonda & husband Chad Maloney, Steven & wife Sharla Roberts, Rick & wife Lora Lowrey, Marvin & wife Johan Lowrey, and Kimberly & husband Josh Gray.
Visitation will be Friday, September 30 from 6-8 pm, and the service will be Saturday, October 1 at 10:00 am, both at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas with interment immediately following.
