I lost my best friend and the rock on which I leaned. I will miss her a lot. Her family took great care of her through these past months and she was so grateful (although I doubt she told them as often as she told me). We had 30 years of memories most of which were good and a few that are best being forgotten. Jeanne wasn't my most patient friend, but she was the best listener. Judy M in Milwaukee

"Some people come into our lives and quietly go. Others stay for a while and leave footprints on our hearts and we are never the same." Jeanne was my longtime and forever friend and I shall miss her so much! We met in grade school 63 years ago and made so many memories together. One of those memories that always made us laugh took place in those early years. We would sometimes, attend church together. For some unknown reason, when the hymn was "My Faith Looks Up to Thee", we would get the giggles. We tried to be respectful, but would keep on laughing. Over the years, the thought of that would always send us back to those days long ago. I was so blessed to have you in my life, Jeanne. May you have the peace that passes all understanding! Jeanne and I formed a friendship from the day we met thirty something years ago. We worked together, took night classes together, vacationed together and shared life together; but mostly I remember all the laughter. We would get the giggles, couldn't stop and laugh until we cried. Jeanne inspired me and will always live in my heart. I am so blessed to have had Jeanne as a friend. I wish that I had found my dear friend, Jeanne, on facebook sooner. We were such good friends in grade school before I moved out of Milwaukee to Grafton, Wisc. It was just a couple years ago that I found her again. She was really surprised. I think about her often. When I put her name on the web I was shocked to see that she had passed away.
