Jeff Dyess' Obituary
Born November 14, 1955 in Austin and graduated from W. T. White High School in 1973. Joined the Navy in 1973. Basic Training at the Naval Training Center in Orlando, FL and attended submarine school in CT then assigned to the Naval Point Loma Base, San Diego. He retired from the Dallas ISD in 2013 after 28 years. Preceded in death by father, Dan Dyess. Survived by wife of 20 years Marlena Thomas Dyess; mother, Betty Dyess; brothers, Danny and J. D. Dyess; step-children, Tara Martin, Michael Lujan, 5 grandchildren. The visitation for Jeff Dyess will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Jeff will be held at 2:30 PM, Friday, July 29, 2016 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
