Jeffrey Scott Cardwell's Obituary
Jeffrey Scott Cardwell, 65, passed away in his home March 14, 2019 in Dallas, TX.Jeffrey was the first born son to Edward and Lorraine Cardwell arriving July 1, 1953 in Roswell, New Mexico. He graduated from Pearce High School in Richardson, TX. “JC,” as he liked to be called by his family and friends, “grampy,” as he was called by his grandson Cale, was a proud father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and storyteller like no other. Wherever his outgoing, adventurous spirit took him, he never met a stranger and formed lifelong friendships with so many. He was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.He is preceded in death by his mother Lorraine Cardwell and his sister Sharon Hahs. He was survived by his father, Edward Cardwell. He is survived by his son Matthew Cardwell of Dallas, TX, daughter Jacey Cardwell of Dallas, TX, grandson Cale Davidson, brother Gary Cardwell and wife Cindy of Springdale, AR, nephew Braden Hahs and wife Sarah of Rhome, TX, niece Megan Godfrey and husband Daniel of Springdale, AR, and nephew Brad Cardwell of Fayetteville, AR. He was blessed with three great nephews and a niece: Kason, ZuZu, Korbin, and Jude.A memorial service will be held at Friday 2:30 pm Friday, March 22nd at Arapaho United Methodist Church in Richardson, TX, Jack Soper will officiate. His ashes will be laid to rest at Arapaho United Methodist Church.Contributions in memory of Jeff may be made to AA-Dallas North Chapter.
