My condolences to Paula and family. I am so sad to hear of Jeff's passing. He was truly a fine man who loved his family dearly. Jeff and I are cousins and we grew up together. He would hang out with my brothers and they would get into trouble or at times just enjoy life a little too much. Those days were some of the best times of my life. I look back on those days with fond memories of Jeff and some of the things we all did as kids. I enjoyed my visit with him when I came to Dallas several weeks after his Mom died. I will miss you cuz and I bet you and your Mom are having a good time together in heaven. Love you cuz Kathy

Paula , Kelly and family, I wish I could have met you all, I remember Jeff growing up in chula vista, I lived on D street with Kathy, Errol ,Keith, Marty and the rest, so many I cant remember all the names, But then again there were 7 Link kids too.. Remember sitting outside talking at nite till we were called in. I just recently got bk in contact, on Facebook, and enjoyed some chats and jokes… He was always worried about my health.. My sincere condolenceds to you, Paula and your family. I was lucky enough to know Jeff growing up in Chula Vista California as teenagers. I have many fond memories of the whole "gang" hanging out always listening to CSNand Y. Jeff would serenade us from time to time with a little John Denver and we would laugh–so many laughs with him. I will treasure those memories, the sarcastic humor, quick wit, eager laugh, and twinkling eyes. And oh yes, the late nights listening to the fire and police scanner! Until we meet again dear Jeff….

Paula – My most sincere condolences in this untimely loss. I knew Jeff for many years when we worked together at Carreker. He was always helpful, caring, and upbeat — the kind of person you could always go to for help. If you brought Jeff a question and he didn't immediately know the answer he would find someone who did. Jeff a man I've met a few times along with his beautiful wife Paula. A man who enjoyed life and loved spending it with wife & family. He loved playing with his gadgets too. Last time I saw them in Vegas he had gotten a GPS I believe it was, and he couldn't wait to play with it. We'll miss you buddy! God bless.

I knew Jeff for over 10 years. He was the sweetest, most caring person. He was so full of energy and was always willing to help. I will miss him greatly. My deepest sympathy and prayers are with the family.

My condolences and deepest sympathies… We all know Jeff a little differently, so I'm sharing how I knew Jeff. I've known Jeff for almost 9 years, and have worked with him regularly during that time. Jeff was a die-hard technology "geek" like myself, and we enjoyed shared information and advice about different technologies. I worked with Jeff on MANY projects, and I always knew that if he walked in to my office and said: "I have a problem, and I'd like to see what you think about it", that this sparked an intellectual discussion that could take 30 minutes or 3 hours, possibly (mostly) involving the whiteboard. At the conclusion, we would walk away with an approach, if not a solution, and that the journey would be enjoyable as much for the camaraderie as for the intellectual challenge. Jeff loved his family. Jeff enjoyed barbecue, root beer, and hockey. That is how I know and remember Jeff, and he will be sorely missed.

John and I were so pleased to get to know Jeff and his sweet wife Paula. John especially appreciated having another guy around with whom he could commiserate on our trips. We loved Jeff's sense of humor and his quick wit, and we could see his love for his wife and family. I will always have happy memories of the too-brief times we spent as friends and look forward to the day when we will all be together in Heaven. Our love and prayers are with the family today and in the difficult days to come.
