Jeffrey Corrigan Peterson's Obituary
Jeffrey Corrigan Peterson passed away suddenly in his home on July 18, 2023, at the age of 59. A tender mercy is that he recently made a trip to see grandchildren and extended family in Southern Utah a month before.
Born in Indio, CA on July 10, 1964, Jeff grew up in Salt Lake City, UT, served a mission in Argentina, married and raised three hard-working sons with Jill Cheney Peterson who has passed on. Jeff served diligently in various stakes and ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He loved wearing cowboy hats while smiling with his beautiful wife on his side, Cristina Peterson. They reside in Dallas, TX.
You can think of Jeff when you tell Dad jokes, when you read patriotic poems on social media, when you invest in troubled youth and believe in their potential, when you ride a horse across a field, when you sing in the church choir or learn to play the guitar, and when you make friends in any job you have.
He is survived by his wife, Cristina Peterson, and three sons: Stephen (Marianne), Michael (Shakell), and James (Brynn), his father James Peterson (Evelyn), 5 siblings, and 8 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by Jill Cheney Peterson and his mother Anne Corrigan Peterson. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday July 29, 2023, in Dallas, TX, with a burial in St. George, UT. Services are being handled by Restland Funeral Home.
