Jeffrey Scott Shipley's Obituary
Jeffrey Scott Shipley, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, August 28, 2015, at the age of 50 from a heart attack. He was born on February 16, 1965 in Dallas, Texas and is survived by his loving wife, Janet Richmond Shipley; father Don Shipley; step-mother Becky Shipley; mother Donna Brumley; step-father John Brumley; brother Colin Shipley; step-brother Matt Brumley; father in-law Floyd Richmond; mother in-law Bette Richmond; brother in-law Mike Richmond and proceeded in death by his brother Donnie Shipley. He attended Grayson County College, the University of Houston and was in the Subsea Oil and Gas Industry . Loved by all, he will be sorely missed by his many friends and family who he kept entertained by his tremendous sense of humor. He enjoyed the Dallas Cowboys, sports, golf, reading and was an avid fisherman. The visitation will be Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Muscular Sclerosis Society at www.nationalmssociety.org. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
