Jeffrey Taylor Young's Obituary
Jeffrey Taylor Young, aka " Jeff, JT, Killa, and Turbo," passed away on March 10, 2023 at his home in Gun Barrel City, Texas. Jeff was a loving and heartfelt man, who will be missed by his loving family, devoted friends, employees and the community that he was involved in.
Jeff Had a policy " friends and family " He treated his loved ones, friends, employees, and clients like family, and everybody he met along the way were friends/family too. He was the founder and co-owner of Phoenix Express Specialty Moving and Delivery. He put everything he had into building and excelling his company, with the driving motivation to make sure his family was well taken care of. He was a loving father and husband who was always there for his family. when he wasn't working, he was the life of the party, a jokester, and a through and through trouble maker. He was always there to lighten the mood and make everyone laugh. You could hear his whistle from across town, and you knew you were in for some fun when he walked into the room. He was an outstanding cook, always making sure everyone was fed. he could make gourmet meals out of seemingly nothing. A very spiritual man, Jeff prayed daily, and loved giving thanks nightly while holding hands with his family at the dinner table. Loved ones will forever be touched by his benevolent and boisterous spirit.
Jeff was predeceased by son Dillon Young, mother Freda Sue Young, Father Robert " Buddy" Young, brother Todd Young, grandparents Dolli L. Bond & Frederick M. Jones & many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is survived by his wife Angie Young, son Rex Young, daughter Bailey Lamaster ( fiancé ' Cole ), daughter Savannah Joyce (husband Hunter), & step-daughters Leah Mader ( husband Justin), Liesha Bruno ( husband Jason), Mindy Lynch ( husband Graham ) and Mandy Peifer as well as 9 beautiful grand children who knew him as they're Pop pop, brother Beau Danielson, aunt Alda Mesker ( husband Richard) and many more uncles, nieces, cousins and friends.
Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home on April 8, 2023 at 2pm. Everyone who knew Jeff knew he would not want this to be a solemn occasion, he would want everyone to celebrate his life. he was not a suit and tie kind of guy, so please dress as you wish. He was a big fan of button downs, blue jeans and boots.
