Jennifer Marie Dunlap's Obituary
Jennifer Marie Dunlap was born on January 30, 1973 to Raymond and Patsy Dunlap in Mesquite, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond and her mother, Patsy. She is survived by her sisters, Sidney Duran and husband, Phillip of Mesquite, Texas; Pam Ziebart and husband, Dave of Galveston, TX; Sharon Maillet and husband, Don of Mesquite, TX; brother, Scott Harris of Houston, TX; nieces and nephews, Christopher LaPlant, Jessica Sloan, Tony Duran, Christine Winslow and Michelle Maillet; great-nieces and nephews, Catherine and Aubrey Winslow, Beau and Lacey Duran, and Heather, Ashlei and Brandon LaPlant; and several cousins and friends. Jennifer had no children of her own, but was godmother to her best friend of 13 years Kim Farmer’s grandkids, Lyndsey, Allyson and Kylie. She also had her furbaby boxer, Roxy Jane. Jennifer was a student at West Mesquite High School. Her favorite thing in life was music, whether it was listening to CD’s in her room, or attending concerts with her friends. She enjoyed all kinds of music from country, to gospel, to Christian rock, but her favorite being 80’s hair metal! Jennifer loved watching music documentaries and reading books about her favorite bands. She was also an avid fan of horror movies. Jennifer was in care of her mother her entire life, but really they took care of each other, being inseparable and doing everything together. Her family and friends are comforted knowing that she is reunited with her mom and dad, and is finally pain free in a beautiful, perfect body and no longer suffering from neurofibromatosis. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and pet boxer Roxy Jane. Funeral services for Jennifer will be at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 31, 2014 in The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
