Jerienne Howell's Obituary
HOWELL, JERIENNE was born on July 12, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas and passed away on July 10, 2013 in Plano, Texas. She was the daughter of Elbert and Gertrude Thompson. Jerienne grew up in Corsicana, Texas and attended Texas Women’s University where she majored in fashion design. She was an accomplished pianist and taught piano for many years. She married Charles Howell and they had three children. She is survived by her brother Alvin Thompson and his wife, Betty, of Fort Worth. Her children are Matthew Howell and wife, Donna, of Richardson; Mitchell Howell and wife, Debra, of Plano; and Stacey Guidry and husband, Tim, of Plano. Her grandchildren include Benjamin Howell and his wife, Melissa, of Austin; Scott Howell of Atlanta, Georgia; Angela Dees of Plano; Katelin Howell of Plano; Julie Dees of Plano; and Zach Guidry of Plano. Jerienne retired from the Dallas Business Journal in 2007. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
