Jerome Smith's Obituary
Jerome Smith, age 71, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. He was born December 24, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas to the late Paul and Lillie Bell " Muddy " Smith. He's preceded in death by four brother's Paul Smith Jr ( Cynthia ) of Amarillo, John Smith, Charles Smith and J.C. Smith ( Alzia Dean )of Amarillo and two sister's Doris Larry Smith and Ellen Jean Smith. Jerome was the lucky number seven. He
was educated in the Amarillo public school system graduating in 1970 from Amarillo High School.
Jerome was united in holy matrimony to Rosalind Smith in summer of 1981; they were blessed with three sons, Charles Matlock, Akeido Jackson, Kiedo Jackson and one daughter Crystal Smith. Jerome Smith was a retired employee of Watkins Motor lines. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great- grandkids and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Smith was a man of few words, but when he spoke it was worth listening to. He had a heart of gold, a smile that was contagious and that lite up a room. He will be truly missed by all his love ones.
