Jerry L. Anderson's Obituary
Jerry Lee Anderson was born July 16, 1929 in Durant, Oklahoma and passed away August 1, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by Vernae and Polly Anderson. Survived by his wife, Larita Kelley Anderson; sons, David and Don Anderson; stepchildren, Bill McMillan and Teresa McMillan; Jerry had 9 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren and a large, loving extended family. Service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 10:30 am at Restland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Streetman Road Baptist Church, 26 West Turner Road Mead, OK 73449. Jerry lived 86 years in Durant, OK. He graduated from Southeastern University. He served in Korea and received the rank of Master Sergeant in the US Army. Jerry opened his own insurance agency an later merged with the Arnett Insurance Agency. Jerry’s three core values in which shaped his life were service to God, family and country. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243 at Restland Road.
