Jerry Hart Atchley, 83, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on Monday, August 3, 1936, to his parents, Clarence Atchley and Martha Lorene Atchley in Red Oak, TX. Jerry Hart Atchley will be sincerely missed by his loving family, his devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.He married Laverne May on 12/31/1955 in Seagoville, TX. He was a Deputy Fire chief Firefighter for Mesquite, TX. He served in the US Marines from 1954-1962 as a Private 2nd Class.He is survived by daughter JerryAnn McCay, Dallas, TX, son Terry Atchley and Wife Patti of Ravenna, TX, grandchildren Brittany McCay, Tiffany Pierson, Jeremy McCay and Cody McCay.Jerry’s family is comforted to know that he is at peace and that “Mama” and “Papa” are together again.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m at Restland Funeral Home.
