Jerry J. Bristor's Obituary
BRISTOR, JERRY JEAN BOURGEOIS born Oct. 10, 1930 in New Orleans, Louisiana and passed away Sept. 6, 2012 in Farmers Branch, Texas. Proceeded in death by her loving & devoted husband of 55 years, Errett Lamar “Bud” Bristor. She is survived by son, Joe Bristor of Seattle, WA.; daughter, Nancy Rosellini and husband, Dr. Mike Rosellini; grandchildren, Will Rosellini and wife, Dr. Emily Rosellini, Dr. Jill Ombrello and husband, Jim Ombrello and Dr. Beth Walther and husband, Dr. Russell Walther, along with God’s greatest blessing of 5 beautiful great grandchildren. Private graveside service held on Friday, Sept. 7, 2012 at Restland Memorial Park. “Bootsy” will be remembered for her “feisty” personality and endless creative nature. She was happiest when sitting at her sewing machine creating projects for her home, her family or her grandchildren. Her Great-grandchildren are still enjoying things she made that have been passed down through the years. She worked for most of her adult life enjoying her time at The Art Institute of Dallas the most. Spending time with all the creative students was a great joy to her. Bootsy was so grateful to be able to spend the last few years living a private life in her own home. She passed peacefully in her sleep after a brief illness. The family wishes to thank Rick Patuchio & Justina, at Care Mountain for their wonderful care and support. Most importantly, we thank the loving care provided by Regina who was so much more than a caregiver – she brought compassion, comfort and humor to all of us.
