Jerry Elgin Hill's Obituary
Lifelong native of Dallas, Texas was born on September 30, 1926 and passed away on November 17, 2014. He attended Highland Park High School and served his country during WWII in the Navy. Jerry was a salesman for IBM for more than 30 years and had many friends all over town that knew him and called him by name. Jerry was most proud of his family. He is survived by his three children, Jerry Hill and wife, Liz, Janet Herron and husband, John, and Jeff Hill and wife, Lisa; nine grandchildren, Ryan and wife Dustie, Megan, Jake, Trey, Michelle and husband Michael, Jesse, Alex, Daniel, and Dylan, seven great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaxon, Cash, Jax, Aiden, Davis and Henley; two sisters and their spouses, Marilyn and Tom Grant, Juanita and Carroll Prior. The family would like to thank the special caregivers that watched over Jerry. The memorial service will be at 12:30 PM on Friday, November 21, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel, with a reception to follow at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc.
