Mr. Jerry Glenn Kirby's Obituary
KIRBY, JERRY GLENN, born May 21, 1959 in McKinney and passed away May 16, 2007 in Dallas. Known by close friends and coworkers as “Mr. Wonderful”, Jerry enjoyed nature (especially birds), poetry and music. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of North Texas and obtained his paralegal certificate in 2005. Jerry worked twenty years in the telecommunications industry, most recently being employed with Comcast and Time Warner Cable. Jerry is preceded in death by Grandmother, Edna Owens; grandfather, C.C. Kirby; grandmother, Eula Frances Kirby; grandfather George Raymond Davis; and niece, Amanda Michelle. Survived by father, Jack Tracey Kirby & mom Vickie; mother, Charlsie Hernandez & husband Larry; brothers Terry Kirby & wife Palmer, Mark Kirby & wife Cindy, Larry Kirby & wife Laurie, Matthew Kirby & wife Jessica; sister, Melva Davis; brother Teddy Southerland; nephews and nieces, Larry Wayne, Lauren, Steven, Kailyn, Andrew, Justin, Amanda Grace, Kyra, Casey and Emilee; grandmother, Mattie Lee Davis; and numerous aunts and uncles and many friends. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Saturday, May 26th at Restland Memorial Chapel.
