Jerry Mayes' Obituary
MAYES, JERRY F. was born on January 30, 1944 and passed away on November 26, 2011. Jerry was a resident of Garland, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew & Edna Mayes; and brother, Herbie Mayes. He is survived by his wife, Betty Mayes; daughters, Gayla and husband Carl Flowers, Sandra and husband William Jones; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Dan and wife Jennie Mayes, Gene and wife Sandra Mayes. Jerry was a four year Veteran in the United States Air Force, as well as a twenty year Veteran of the Dallas County Sheriffs’ Department.
