Born on August 27, 1947 in Durant, Oklahoma to Arvel and Wanda Rodgers and passed away April 4, 2016 in Graham, Texas. Preceded in death by his parents, Arvel and Wanda Rodgers; and sister, Christy L. Rodgers. Jerry is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Embry and husband, Micah; grandchildren, Katie Embry, Micah Embry, Charlie Embry; aunt, Evelyn Eston; and caregiver, Ruth Acosta and husband, George. Family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will take place at 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at The Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
