He was a person in long term recovery and had periods of many years of continuous sobriety. He and his family were so proud this year after having a recurrence of alcohol use, he re-engaged in his recovery and never looked back. His recovery was one filled with determination, faithfulness, community, restored relationships, and service. His family was never more proud of him and he is an example of what happens in recovery.
