Jerry Clay Wooldridge's Obituary
WOOLDRIDGE, JERRY CLAY, Born on April 3, 1926 in Gainsville, TX and passed away on July 13, 2008 in Addison, TX. He was loving husband, father, and grandfather. Jerry retired as a National Bank Examiner with the U.S. Treasury Department with over 30 years of service. He was a volunteer for 16 years at the Addison Texas Municipal Court. He also volunteered for the RHD Memorial Hospital in Farmers Branch for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his son, Robert Cavins Wooldridge; brothers, Sidney Alexander Wooldridge and Bert Cavins Wooldridge; and mother and father Bert Clay Wooldridge and Myrtle Cavins. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilynn Wooldridge; son, Jerry Clay Wooldridge and his wife Patricia; daughter-in-law Maria Wooldridge; grandchildren, Benjamin Gerald Wooldridge and Robert Cavins Wooldridge, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 to 7PM on Tuesday July 15, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be at 3:30PM Wednesday July 16, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Vista Care Hospice, 7557 Rambler Rd # 112 Dallas, TX 75231, or a charity of your choice. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
