Jerry Lynn Young's Obituary
Jerry Young, 67, of Garland passed away March 30th, 2010 peacefully from the arms of his loving family to the arms of his LORD. Born May 16, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Freddie & Juanita Young. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Fred. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Martha Young, his brother & sister in law, Ron & Linda Young (Bedford), his children, Lisa Young (Wylie), Kim & Dean Sams (Nashville, TN), Karole & Rex Requilman (Plano), Tammy & Lan Nickens (Plano), Robin Castro (Garland), and Bill & Robbin Schmitt (Lucas), 14 grandchildren, and numerous cousins, and close friends. He was a member of the Mesquite Lodge and a member of Hella Shriners Temple in Dallas. He loved life and the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family and loved those special times with his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital of your choice. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
