Jesse Stanley Baker, of Forney, Tx., was born to Stanley and Carrie Baker Dec. 9, 1922, in Grand View, Tx. and died Jan. 7, 2018.Mr. Baker had worked for General Dynamics for 21 years and for Dal-Chrome for 28 years. He served in the United States Navy from Jan.12, 1943 to Nov. 30, 1945.He is survived by a daughter, Pam Sorenson of Forney and by a son; Mark and wife Kim Baker of Terrell, 6 Grandchildren; Lisa Copeland and spouse Shaun Copeland, Jessica Pace and spouse Rob Pace, Skyler Hughes and spouse Adam Hughes, Matt Baker and spouse Heather Baker and 9 great-grandchildren, Madison Copeland, Cade Carlson, Aiden Hughes, Sophie Copeland, Finn Pace, Britton Pace, Lola Copeland, Beckett Hughes, and Lenyx Pace. Jessica Pace, Skyler Hughes, Matt Baker, Mitch Baker and Morgan Baker. Mr. Baker was preceded in death by his wife Venita Baker and by a son, Johnny Baker.Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 pm Noon on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 in the Restland Abbey Chapel with Funeral services to follow at 12:00 pm noon.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
