Jesse Lee Brundrett Jr.'s Obituary
BRUNDRETT, JESSE LEE JR. 63, of Dallas, Texas, passed away March 29, 2012 at his home. He was born December 22, 1948 in Angleton, Texas to Jesse Lee Brundrett, Sr. and Ina Pearl Riggs Brundrett. The family moved to Tyler, Texas in 1954 and moved to Overton, Texas in 1964. He graduated West Rusk High School in 1967. While attending school, Lee was active in the Boy Scout Program and achieved the highest level of Eagle Scout in 1965. Lee graduated from Tyler Jr College in 1972 and Stephen F. Austin State University in 1974 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He married Joan Patricia Neveux in 1975 in Tyler, Texas. They then made their home in Dallas, Texas and were married for 37 years. Lee was an accountant and later a controller for 25 years at Conley, Lott, Nichols Machinery Company. After retiring he started his own retail business, “Here, Birdie Birdie”, a wild bird store, for 10 years. Lee, always looking to expand his career, was in his internship with Primerica, a financial consulting firm. Lee is survived by his wife, Joan Patricia Brundrett; his mother, Ina Riggs Brundrett; his sister and brother-in-law, Lynne and Larry Maddox; two nephews Ren and Ken Maddox, their wives Marci and Star, and their children Brittney, McKenzie, Andrew and Rachel. Mr. Brundrett’s family would like to express their appreciation to each of you for your kindness shown in prayers, thoughts and deeds. Your presence here today is a great comfort and your continued prayers and support are welcomed. Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, still missed. Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on. Cherished memories never fade because a loved one is gone. Those we love can never be more than a thought apart, for as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in our hearts. Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00pm on Sunday, April 1st at Restland Abbey Chapel with Rosary at 7:00pm. Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, April 2nd at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dallas SPCA or Feral Friends Community Cat House, PO Box 832857, Richardson, TX 75083.
