Jesse Pinones, born on February 27, 1922, in Castroville, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, at the age of 102. Jesse lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by his dedication to his country, his family, and his community.
Jesse proudly served in the United States Army from October 12, 1942, until December 4, 1945. His service during World War II was a testament to his bravery and commitment to protecting the freedoms we cherish today. After his honorable discharge, Jesse returned to Dallas, where he became a beloved member of the community.
He was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit. Jesse's life was a beacon of hope and resilience, inspiring all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.
Jesse is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his legacy of love and strength.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM on January 6, 2025, at Restland Memorial Chapel, with visitation one hour prior followed by a graveside service in the Garden of Freedom.
