Jessie D. Fisher's Obituary
83, of Mesquite, Texas passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, November 6, 2008. She was born on February 20, 1925 in Buffalo, Texas to Urban Alysberry Dolson and Lillie Maud Dolson. She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1944. She graduated from Tyler Business College. She had the most beautiful handwriting. After college, she moved to Dallas, Texas where she met and married her husband Luther F. Fisher. In 1983 they moved to Austin, Texas where she attended Bible study fellowship and developed many loving friends for which she was so grateful. Jessie was a dedicated wife and mother and was most happy caring for her family. She loved sewing and cooking. She was a member of Eastridge Park Christian Church of Mesquite, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Luther F. Fisher. She is survived by her son Ken Fisher of Dallas, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Karen Fisher of Prairie Village, Kansas, daughter and son-in-law Frances and Mike Murch of Mesquite, four grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral service will be held Monday November 10, 2008 at 3PM at Restland Abbey Chapel in Dallas. Visitation will be from 3 to 5PM Sunday November 9, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Fisher, Jeff Fisher, Mike Murch, Matthew Murch, Don Gough, and Scott Fisher. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Eastridge Park Christian Church, or a charity of your choice.
