Jessie G. Patton's Obituary
Jessie Genevieve Flucard Patton , 88, went home to be with the Lord on July 10, 2009 in Plano, Texas. She was born on October 19, 1920 in Westville, Oklahoma to Abraham Lincoln Flucard and Ella Flucard. She moved to Texas in 1948 and reared 4 children along side her devoted husband Earl Patton. She was a loving and devoted Mother whose priority was to care for, love and grow strong believers in Jesus. She read her Bible daily and taught those around her with a strong quiet spirit the lessons of life and never lost her sense of humor. She is survived by her husband Earl D. Patton of Dallas, daughter Carolyn Seaberry, sons David E. Patton, Joseph M. Patton and his wife Evita and John T. Patton. Grandchildren includes Dr. Robert and Susan Wells, Brian and Charity Andrews, Michael and Faith Bleecker, Kyle and Jessica Hendrickson and Joseph M. Patton. Great grandchildren includes Caroline Wells, Clay Andrews, Kara Andrews, Evan Bleecker and Jude Bleecker. Funeral will be held Tuesday, July 14 at 3:00 p.m. at Wildwood Chapel at Restland in Dallas. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. on Monday July 13 at Restland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Gideon’s Bible Society, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 or to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, P.O. Box 1270, Charlotte, NC 28201-1270.
