Jim S. Goode's Obituary
Jim Shazor Goode, age 77, passed away on February 11, 2019 in Dallas Texas of cancer He was born on December 10, 1941 to Willard Aaron Goode and Katherine E. Goode in Roswell, New Mexico. Jim married Mary Gsell on June 2, 1964 in Roswell, New Mexico. He was a business owner for 30 years. Jim served in the United States Army from June 6, 1963 to May 12, 1969 as an E-2 Armor Crewman. Jim was a successful entrepreneur, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and we will miss him always.He is survived by his wife, Mary (Petey) of Dallas, Texas; daughters, Katherine Litherland of Bartonville, Texas; Kristi McDowell and husband Dale of The Colony, Texas; son, Jim Goode, Jr. and wife Amanda of McKinney, Texas; sister, Katherine Green, and seven grandchildren.A memorial service for Mr. Jim Goode will take place on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 12:30 PM in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
