Devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.Jim “Chief” Sanchez, Sr. was born July 24, 1931 in Dallas, TX and went to be with Our Heavenly Father on July 4, 2019.Jim worked 30 years as a printer with Alfred Greenfield and loved to DJ. He served as a Marine during the Korean War.He is survived by his wife Inez Cabrera, his children Jim Sanchez, Jr., Leonor Santana, Noel Sanchez, his grandchildren Jesse Santana Jr., Vincent Rodriguez, Lydia Santana, Maria Rodriguez, Modesto Rodriguez, Brenda Soria, Andrew Sanchez, Jacob Sanchez, Alex Sanchez, Ava Sanchez,Kesha Kilgore, Clint R. Sanchez, his great grandchildren Keanu Santana, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Keanna Santana, Marisol Santana, Ava Santana, Marcus Rodriguez, Xavier Rodriguez, Kaylee Santana, Daniela Soria, Nicholas Rodriguez, Janita Ruiz, Giovanni Ruiz, Micah Santana, Gia Santana, Kennedy Sanchez, Juan Soria Jr., Tilery Kilogore, Mia Soria, Sebastian, Isaiah and Nya Kilgore.He is preceded in death with daughter Elizabeth Rodriguez.Visitation for Mr. Jim Sanchez will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home.
