Jimmie Abbott peacefully entered eternity on March 15, 2011. She is survived by her husband, Dan E. Abbott; sons, Greg Abbott and wife Priscilla of Plano, Mark Abbott and wife Vicki of Richardson; daughter, Jan Brown and husband M Read Obituary
I am so happy that I had the short time of knowing Mrs. Abbott and Mr. Abbott. She was a joy to know and we had a lot of laughs together. I will keep the family in my prayers. She was in deed a special lady. She is resting now with her Savior.
I was sorry to learn of the loss of Jimmie. Our friendship grew when I served as their Pastor in our small group ministry at Hillcrest Church. I know Jimmie is rejoicing with her Lord today. It was a joy to know her here & it is a comfort to know we will be together again one day.

My Dearest Mimi, I'm so sorry I won't be there tomorrow, but just reading the comments below I have gained peace in knowing you will truly be missed and remembered by so many.
