Jimmie L. Alford's Obituary
Born April 9, 1921 passed away March 6, 2012 in Plano, TX. Jimmie was a strong link to her family. Her roots are deeply imbedded in East Texas. She was born in Ladonia, to Warner and Carrie Hall. She moved to Picton, after marrying her husband, Gordon, of over 71 years. They moved to Dallas, then Winnsboro, back to Dallas and then to Plano. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Hal Hall and her sisters Francyle Taylor and Warneece Wallace. She leaves to mourn her legacy, her husband, Gordon of Plano, son, Richard and his wife Evelyn of Garland; grandsons Gary with his wife Michelle and great granddaughter Ashley of Arlington, Mike and his wife Annie of Dallas and great grandson Michael of Seattle, many cousins and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Breast Cancer Society. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 8 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:30 Friday, March 9 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
